What is GumGuard®?
GumGuard® is a soft, comfortable mouthpiece designed to fit the gums of denture wearers and implant patients. It is worn anytime dentures are not in use. GumGuard® does not fit over teeth and is specially designed and patented exclusively for denture wearers and implant patients. Proudly made in the USA.

Is this one size fits all? How do I know it will fit?
Yes. GumGuard® molds using the included fitting putty to the size and shape of your gums. The GumGuard® can also be trimmed for comfort. Easy-to-follow instructions are included.
How long does the putty last after fitting?
On average, the putty lasts about 3 months, or as needed for hygienic reasons.
I have a very small mouth. Will this work?
Yes. GumGuard® custom molds using the fitting putty and can be trimmed to ensure a comfortable fit.
How soon after extractions can I fit my GumGuard®?
You may wait 1–3 days after extractions before fitting the putty. You may wear GumGuard® without putty immediately after extraction, then re-line once swelling subsides. An extra putty pack is included.
Can I use this while healing?
Yes. Wear GumGuard® without putty during healing. Fit the putty after 1–3 days and re-line once swelling decreases.
What is the difference between Standard GumGuardPM® and UltraSoft GumGuardPM®?
The Standard GumGuardPM® is thinner and durable. UltraSoft GumGuardPM® is softer, lighter, and ideal for sore gums or recent extractions.
Will GumGuard® work with implants?
Yes. GumGuard® works well with implants and abutments. Implant posts often help retain the GumGuard® more securely.
How do I clean the putty lining?
The putty lining is removable and replaceable. Clean it like dentures using denture cleaner or a soft toothbrush.
Are GumGuard® products latex free?
Yes. GumGuard® products are latex free and made from surgical-grade materials.
Are GumGuard® products zinc free?
Yes. All GumGuard® products are zinc free.
Is GumGuard® BPA free?
Yes.
Do I need to order both upper and lower?
No. You may order an upper, lower, or set depending on your needs.
What is the difference between GumGuard Pro® and GumGuardPM®?
GumGuard Pro® is a two-part appliance worn when not eating. GumGuardPM® is designed for night wear to maintain muscle support and comfort.
What is the putty made of?
The putty meets FDA 510(k) and EU safety standards. It is proprietary, flavorless, odorless, and silicone-like.
Can I eat while wearing GumGuard®?
No. Eating while wearing GumGuard® may weaken or dislodge the putty.
Can I drink while wearing GumGuard®?
No. Drinking while wearing GumGuard® is not recommended.
Can this product be used if I still have teeth?
No. GumGuard® is designed only for individuals without teeth and does not fit over teeth.
How long does GumGuard® last?
With proper care and regular re-lining, GumGuard® can last years. Heavy grinding may shorten lifespan.
Is GumGuard® FSA or HSA eligible?
No. GumGuard® is not currently FSA or HSA eligible.

What is your return policy?
Due to hygiene reasons, all sales are final. Orders may be canceled before shipment. Defective items may be exchanged.
Is everything included?
Yes. Each kit includes the GumGuard®, fitting putties, storage case, and instructions.
How should I store my GumGuard®?
Rinse after use, air dry, and store in a clean, dry case. Do not soak for long periods.
